About the course

This intensive eight-week course, delivered by proven industry professionals, will immerse you in the world of Raspberry Pi, IoT, and AI. Comprising a blend of theoretical learning and practical projects, you will gain skill mastery and real-world readiness for various tech roles. At the core of the course, lies hands-on work with Raspberry Pi hardware and OS. This foundation will allow you to dive into Python programming, mastering how to write, test, and debug Python programs to control hardware via GPIO, PWM, and serial interfaces. From here, you'll move onto interacting with digital and analog sensors such as motors, buzzers, and relays to create intricate mini-projects. Then, using the Pi Camera along with OpenCV, you'll learn to capture, process, and stream video. The course gets even more interesting as you venture into the implementation of AI/ML tasks through MediaPipe, where you'll learn face detection and set up drowsiness alerts. The integration of IoT cloud platforms like Firebase and ThingSpeak will provide you with the skills for remote control and data logging. Beyond this, you will also gain exposure to automating tasks with shell scripting and crontab. The course culminates with a comprehensive capstone project merging hardware, AI, and IoT. Key to mastering the material is our focus on useful weekly assignments, personalized feedback, and the handy skill of delivering professional presentations and documentations.
