About the video

This Vedic Maths video is for students of class 9 and above. In this video, we will be learning about the concepts of Vedic Maths that can be applied in Algebra. We will see and understand the method to find the solution of Type 3 of simple equations, i.e., (ax + b) / (cx + d)  =   p / q. In this equation, if we find the value of ‘x’, we will get x = pd - qb / aq. - cp. The sutra used in this method of finding solutions of simple equations is called “Transpose & Apply” or “परावर्त्य योजयेत्”. The trick here lies in identifying the type of linear equation given and applying the appropriate equation to find the solution of the variable. With the help of this and a few more sutras, we will learn how to find solutions of different types of equations in algebra. Stay tuned to learn the applications of Vedic Maths in algebra!
