What is Vilokanam ?

The word “Vilokanam” means observation. It is called spark addition because within a spark of time we can find the sum. This method helps to find the sum of numbers by just looking at them. One can practise this method to speed up their calculation speed. Now, let’s solve some problems using the Vilokanam method.  

Q1.  Add by calculating for tens.

1) 43 + 8 =

Q2. Add by calculate for numbers totaling 10.

Multiplication with 11

What is Multiplication with 11?

This is a special kind of multiplication method used to solve problems of multiplication with 11. This method is derived from the ancient mathematical methods by vedas. This method is considered to be one of the easiest methods in multiplication.
