While some argue that celebrities serve as positive role models, others believe their impact on young minds is more negative than positive. In my opinion, the influence is subjective and depends on the situation, making a balanced approach essential to guide adolescents in this regard.

To begin with, it is undeniable that many celebrities have a positive impact on young people because they often use their platforms to advocate for important social causes and inspire positive change. For instance, in his television series ‘Satyamev Jayate’, actor Aamir Khan highlighted numerous social issues such as female infanticide and corruption. These heart-wrenching stories motivated many viewers to take action to address such problems. His dedication to social justice and ability to engage with the audience have made him a role model for countless young people.

Conversely, it is equally easy for young minds to fall prey to negative influences, such as unrealistic beauty standards and unhealthy lifestyles. Many young people aspire to look like their favorite celebrities, often resorting to harmful practices like extreme dieting or excessive exercise. Furthermore, constant exposure to airbrushed images and unrealistic body shapes can lead to body image issues and low self-esteem. Additionally, the glamorization of substance abuse and reckless behavior may cause minors to perceive such actions as normal. 

In conclusion, the influence of celebrities on youngsters is a double-edged sword, with both positive and negative aspects. In my opinion, it is crucial to strike a balance by educating adolescents and guiding them to discern positive traits while being critical of negative influences.
