PART 2
Describe a part of the world you would like to visit.
You should say:
- where it is
- how and what you know about it
- what you would like to do there
- and explain why you would like to visit this part of the world.
There are so many stunning locations in the globe that I would absolutely love to see. Of course, I've been fortunate to have already been to a handful of them. But today I want to talk about a specific location in a different region of the world that I hope to visit soon.
Hawaii, a state in the USA, is the destination in question that I would like to visit. Hawaii is very much like a paradise to many travelers around the world. It is the only US state outside of the continent of North America and the only island state. It is regarded as the most remote populated center on the planet, with more than 137 islands spanning over 1500 miles.
But until I watched various trip programmes on television and read numerous vacation magazines, I knew nothing about this location. Needless to say, a lot of people who travel to this particular place frequently agree, and this is a place I'd like to visit in the future. Unfortunately, due to the fact that this location is more than 10,000 kilometers away from my home country and on a different continent, the only way for me to get there from where I am is through plane.
In any regard, Hawaii offers some of the most stunning and appealing warm water beaches anywhere in the globe, not just in America. This is the main reason I want to travel there. In fact, there is a well-known beach on every island in Hawaii. Hawaii also contains some of the most stunning waterfalls in the world, whose thick rainforest vegetation constantly conjures up images of fantastical settings. Lastly, I want to go here so that I can experience the "aloha spirit," which is present everywhere.
PART 3
Why do you think people want to visit other countries?
In my opinion, people definitely get bored living in the same place for a very long time, which makes them want to travel to various nations and locations. In addition, they have a strong interest in learning about and experiencing various customs, civilizations, and ways of life. Finally, some people may travel abroad for family reunions, medical treatments, or educational purposes.
What makes some places very attractive to tourists?
Tourists find various locations appealing for various reasons, but generally speaking, lush, beautiful landscapes with lots of greenery, mountains, snow, stunning seashores, sunny and pleasant weather, reasonably priced and comfortable lodging, hospitable host nations and locales, and delectable cuisine are some of the things that make locations very appealing to tourists.
Do people travel abroad more or less than they did in the past? Why/Why not?
I believe that enhanced travel options, technology advancements, and activities from the tourism industries have fostered the trend of more people traveling these days for a variety of reasons. Numerous advantages of travel cannot be attained by staying at home.
In addition, because people are now more culturally and economically connected than ever before, traveling overseas for some people has virtually become a necessity.
Will international tourism increase or decrease in the future? Why?
Yes, I am certain that there will be an increase in international tourism in the future, mainly since it has become a significant source of wealth in many nations throughout the world. Additionally, because of the simple and liberal visa requirements, traveling is becoming easier than ever. Finally, thanks to the internet and satellite TV channels, people are learning more and more positive things about various locations and nations throughout the world, and as a result, it is only reasonable to anticipate that international travel will rise in the future.
How can tourism benefit local people and places?
By introducing new enterprises and job possibilities to the local population and the areas in which they reside, tourism may help the local population and the locations where they live. Additionally, the local population gains knowledge of the visitors' good ideas and successful tactics, if any, so that they might experiment with similar concepts and methods to enhance their quality of life even further. Finally, tourism increases locals' tolerance for the customs, traditions, and cultures of other people.
Are there any drawbacks of tourism?
Of course, there are some negative effects of tourism, such as the loss of the cultural and national identities of the host nations, the development of financial disparity, and occasionally, hostility between those that benefit from tourism and those that do not. Then, as a result of tourism, the locals are occasionally evicted from the location of their ancestors and compelled to relocate. Finally, by contributing to inflation, tourism places unwelcome economic strain on the regional economy.
