7 October 2023 IELTS Semi-Formal Letter to return the lost luggage you found

Dear Sir,

I am writing to inform you about your bag that you seem to have misplaced unknowingly at the airport. I am happy to inform you that I have found it and want to discuss how I can get it back to you.

I boarded an early morning flight to Bengaluru yesterday and after landing, all the other passengers left after collecting their belongings from the overhead bins. While I was taking out my bag, I found a red colour bag next to mine with your name and address on it. Since I was the last one to leave the aircraft, I thought that someone must have left it there by mistake. Upon enquiring with the crew, I realised that they were clueless, so I decided to carry it with me and write to you.

Please call me on 9825008120 and let me know whether I can courier the bag to you. A text message confirming your postal address would also be fine.
