Question: The bar graph below gives information about the average daily sales of different food items in two seasons. Summarize and report the main features of the given visual.

Answer:

The given bar graph represents the number of portions of various food items sold every day on average. The data is mentioned for two different seasons, which are winter and summer.

Overall, it can be clearly seen that the demand for hot beverages is higher in winter. Interestingly, the quantity of salad sold is exactly the same in both seasons.

Although iced coffee is the least in demand during winters with only a negligible number of servings being sold every day, it is the highest-sold category in summers (40 servings). Likewise, ice cream is the second most sold delicacy in summer (35 units), but its demand is considerable in winter also and is lower by just about 10%. Hot coffee, on the other hand, is bought the most in winter (approximately 75 units); however, in summer, its demand is reduced by more than half and comes down to 30 servings.

Similarly, soup is the second most demanded category in winter with 50 units purchased every day, but in summer, only about 25 units are sold which is a 50% reduction. Interestingly, for salads too, roughly 25 units are sold irrespective of the weather.
