- Who helped you to organize it
- Explain why you think it worked.
Answer:
In our lives, many times, we have to take ownership and successfully organize various events. One such event that I would like to describe here is when I organized my sister's birthday party. It was a month back when we started to prepare for the grand event as it was my sister's 18th birthday and I wanted it to be extra special. So, I managed to gather all my cousins together and I asked them to be discreet about it and not spill the beans about the special plan. Next, we organized a few calls. We invited my sister's friends for the special event and we asked them to keep it a secret as well. Once we got all the invitations done, we started to work on the decoration of the venue and the food items, which we were going to serve the guests at the birthday party. We divided the duties amongst all of us. I was in charge of the food menu and the party poppers, which were going to be out when she entered the room. The other cousins took care of the decorations as well as the drinks and some snacks. I worked extremely hard to organize this party because it was a surprise party. If anything went wrong at the last minute, all of our hard work would have gone to waste. We managed to do small tasks each day instead of piling up everything for the day. I think this approach helped us to organize it efficiently without any pressure. On my birthday, my sister was over the moon and she jumped up with joy when we surprised her with the party, which she was not expecting at all. To encapsulate, this was one of the most memorable events that I had ever planned.
Part 3
- On what occasion should people organize?
Well, there can be numerous occasions when people have to be organized. Firstly, it can be a festival or any occasion where a lot of people are expected. Secondly, it can be a low-key event such as a birthday, a farewell, or a simple get-together. Lastly, there can be a major event such as a wedding or an anniversary function, which also requires a well-organised approach.
- Does everything need to be well prepared?
In my opinion, it's not mandatory that everything needs to be well prepared. But of course, it would be a better option if we're prepared for any event or any project that is on our plate. For instance, if you have an upcoming vacation, it would be better if you plan ahead and make all the bookings so that there are no last-minute glitches that might spoil your mood during the holiday. On the other hand, for a recurring activity like grocery shopping, being prepared with the list is not very important as it is a regular event.
- Do people need the help of others in organizing things?
On the one hand, some situations might require people to seek help from others. For instance, if there's a wedding that one needs to plan for, an individual might require help from a wedding planner or an event manager. On the contrary, If it is a task that can be done single-handedly, then an individual won't require help from someone else.
- How can parents help children organize their schedules?
Parents can help children learn about time management by teaching them the habit of making notes and jotting down their key tasks for the day. For instance, parents can teach students how to make their own study plans, which will help them whenever they have exams or any particular test. This will not only help children to study more efficiently but also understand the importance of managing their time.
