Part 1 (Interview)

What is your name?

My name is Priya Saini. You can address me by my first name, Priya.

 Where are you from?

I am from North India and I am currently living in Gurgaon. It’s a metropolitan city with great infrastructure. Many multinational and IT companies have a presence in Gurgaon. It has a great night life as well. 

Do you live in a city or a town?

Gurgaon, where I live, is a metropolitan city in the Delhi NCR region. It has all the amenities that a metro city should have. Additionally,  it has a great environment and lush green trees.  

What do you do, work or study?

I am currently working as a senior content writer in a startup based on personal branding. I am primarily associated with writing for clients and brands for their social handles. Also, I write blogs for our own company’s website.

Are you living alone or with your family?

I live alone in an apartment in Gurgaon. My family lives in Ludhiana, Punjab. It has been two years since I started living alone in Gurgaon after moving here for my job. I am enjoying this phase of my life, more specifically, independence.  

Do you have any brothers or sisters?

I have an elder brother, who is 4 years older than me. He is a businessman and has his own store of electronics and mobile phones. Unfortunately, I do not have any sisters. I always wish I had one.

Did your parents encourage you to share things with others when you were little?

Yes, my parents always taught me to be kind and share things with my friends and classmates. For instance, I was always taught to share stationery items with other students if they were in need. 

Have you ever shared anything with anyone?

Yes, I have always shared my objects or belongings with people in need. I vividly remember how I used to share my books with my best friend as we were in the same class. It not only helped us to study together but also helped us to grasp the concepts easily as we used to discuss the chapters together.
