Can you tell me a little about yourself?

I'm Rohit. I live in Delhi with my family of four. My father is a retired Navy officer, my mother is a teacher, and my sister holds a position as a senior analyst at a tech firm.

What do you do for work or study?

Currently, I am pursuing a degree in Computer Science from a university in Delhi. My coursework includes subjects such as programming, data structures, and artificial intelligence, which is of particular interest to me.

What is your hometown famous for?

My hometown, Delhi, is renowned for its rich history and cultural heritage. It is home to world-famous landmarks such as the Red Fort, India Gate, and Qutub Minar, attracting tourists from all over the world. As the capital of India, Delhi serves as a political and administrative center, housing several important government organizations.

Did you take history classes in school?

Yes, I studied history in school, and I really enjoyed it. We learned about various topics, including ancient civilizations and India's independence movement. I especially liked understanding how past events have shaped the world we live in today.

Do you think learning history is important? Why or why not?

Yes, I believe learning history is essential. It teaches us about the origins of modern societies, cultures, and political systems, offering explanations for the present. Additionally, studying history allows us to learn from past mistakes and make informed decisions for a better future.

Can history be helpful in day-to-day life? Why or why not?

Yes, history can be useful in everyday life by providing important lessons from the past. Moreover, history promotes cultural sensitivity, which enhances communication and understanding in daily interactions.

What period of history interests you the most?

The era of history that fascinates me the most is the Renaissance, spanning the 14th to 17th centuries. It was a period of profound change in art, science, and philosophy, marked by the rediscovery of classical knowledge and a surge of creativity. This intellectual and cultural evolution laid the foundation for modern thought.
