  "Sydney" stands out as my favourite city among those I've visited thus far. It serves as the capital of New South Wales in Australia and is nestled along the shores of the Tasman Sea, boasting a population of approximately 4.6 million residents. My first encounter with this city was in 2008, following my graduation, and I cherished every moment of my stay. Sydney captivated me with its picturesque natural landscapes, expansive botanical gardens, verdant parks, and towering skyscrapers. Notably, its array of heritage-listed structures, including the iconic Sydney Opera House, draws throngs of tourists and sightseers.

Renowned for its vibrant cultural scene, Sydney boasts numerous renowned museums, galleries, and art institutions. Its impressive architecture, coupled with its temperate climate, beckons over 11 million international and domestic visitors annually. During my 15-day stay, I resided in a towering 20-story hotel, revelling in its captivating vistas. The city's efficient transportation network facilitated seamless navigation, enabling me to adhere to my itinerary meticulously. I particularly relished the spaciousness of its parks and gardens, where I found solace amidst the bustling cityscape. The locals exuded warmth and hospitality, readily extending assistance to tourists like myself, ensuring hassle-free exploration. I had the pleasure of immersing myself in Sydney's rich cultural tapestry, attending several art exhibitions and cultural festivals that left an indelible impression.

Sydney boasts an abundance of attractions, including the Royal Botanic Garden, Hyde Park, Queen Victoria Building, Sydney Town Hall, Macquarie Lighthouse, Australia Square, and of course, the iconic Sydney Opera House. My vacation in Sydney was nothing short of extraordinary, with each day brimming with new discoveries and memorable experiences. Indeed, the passage of the scheduled two weeks seemed to fly by unnoticed, a testament to the city's captivating allure.

•  What benefits can tourism bring to the city?
  Tourism can bring significant economic benefits to a city by generating revenue from hotel stays, restaurant dining, shopping, and attractions. It also promotes cultural exchange and understanding between locals and visitors, which can foster international cooperation and appreciation.
• Why do youngsters prefer to live in cities?
  Youngsters often prefer to live in cities because of the abundant opportunities for education, employment, social interaction, and cultural experiences. Cities typically offer a diverse range of career options, entertainment venues, and amenities that appeal to young people seeking excitement and personal growth.
•  Do most of the elderly prefer to live in the city or countryside?
  It varies depending on personal preferences and individual circumstances. Some elderly people may prefer the tranquility and slower pace of life in the countryside, while others may opt to stay in cities for easier access to healthcare, social services, and amenities. Factors such as family support, mobility, and lifestyle preferences also play a role in their decision.
• Do you think tourism has a negative effect on the local people?
  In some cases, tourism can have negative effects on local communities, such as overcrowding, environmental degradation, and cultural commodification. It can also lead to increased living costs and gentrification, displacing residents and changing the character of neighbourhoods. However, with proper planning and management, tourism can minimise its negative impact and contribute positively to the overall development of the city.
