Question: Write a letter to invite a friend to an exhibition
Your photograph recently won a photography competition and will be shown in an exhibition. Write a letter to your friend.
In your letter:
- Describe the photograph you sent to the competition
- Tell him/her about the exhibition where your photo will be shown
- Invite him/her to the exhibition
Answer:
Dear Sam, I hope you are doing well. I'm pleased to inform you that one of my photos has been nominated for an exhibition display. I am super excited to share this good news with you with all the details. The photograph that I sent to the competition is called "Music Street". It's a black-and- white image of a street musician playing his guitar, with the city's skyline in the background. I've tried to capture the essence of music, passion, and city life, in one frame. The exhibition where my photo will be shown is called "Urban Vibes: Capturing Life in the City." It's a photography exhibition that celebrates the beauty and chaos of urban life, featuring works from some of the best photographers in the city. The exhibition will be held at the art gallery downtown, from 10th to 25th March. I want you to be a part of this jubilant moment with me, so I am inviting you to come to the exhibition. It would mean the world to me to have you here on the opening day. We can have some great fun, check out the other works, and celebrate my photo together. Let me know if you can make it!
