About the video

Do you make grammatical mistakes while writing Business Emails? Proper grammar usage is an essential tool for any professional— it helps you to convey your message clearly and make your content easy to read. It is the skeleton on which the content of your email is placed. If it is not sturdy, your words will go haywire and lose their impact.

A wrong tense will convey wrong meaning. Even punctuation marks cannot be overlooked. They not only convey the correct meaning but also show whether the writer cares by being careful while writing the email. Most of you must have come across the popular example mentioned in various articles.

Woman: without her, man is nothing./ Woman: without her man, is nothing.

Just a comma has so much power in a sentence - it can completely change the sense.

Comma at the wrong place or the absence of a comma can give you run-on sentences or comma splices, which are grammatically incorrect.

Example: I request you to share the details I am going to send the proposal today. [Two independent clauses are joined with just a comma.] Correction: I request you to share the details as I am going to send the proposal today.

The meeting will be held tomorrow, therefore all arrangements should be made today. [Two independent clauses are joined with a conjunctive adverb but without proper punctuation.] Correction: The meeting will be held tomorrow; therefore, all arrangements should be made today.
