Introduction Mannat was not looking for courses, she had started preparing for IELTS on her own by various online material and books. She was ready to take the IELTS exam when due to COVID all the testing centers closed down. “Lockdown was good for me actually as I got time to enroll for the course at Yuno Learning and understand about the format of IELTS,” she says when asked how she came across Yuno. She was struggling with the writing section but without guidance and support, she was unsure of how to proceed ahead. Main Challenges Mannat had already started the IELTS preparation by herself when she realized that she was highly underprepared and needed more knowledge about the IELTS exam format. Mannat was self-assessing her progress which made it difficult for her to gauge her preparation level. Mannat was also facing difficulty in her writing section and was unable to improve her writing score when preparing herself. As there was no one to point out her mistakes, suggest her strategies, and guide her to improve her score she was oblivious as to how to improve. I must’ve written some 60-70 essays before taking my IELTS exam and she helped me through it all.”
- Get Your Desired Score: “If I would’ve continued learning myself I would’ve scored a 1 or 2 point less than what I scored in the IELTS exam. I scored an 8 band on my IELTS exam and I’m really satisfied with my performance because of the support I received from the instructor” Mannat said when asked about her score. - Continuous Guidance: “My exam was 10 days after my course ended and I used to write 3-4 writings per day and my instructor helped me throughout.
